STYLE GUIDE

Protocol for wearing hats and headdresses

1. WHICH SIDE DO WE TAKE THE HEADDRESSES?

Whenever possible, it is better to place it towards the right side of our head. And this is usually the case for a practical reason, and that is that our companion will normally carry us by the left arm. Therefore our accessory should not interfere with your vision.

2. WHEN DO WE TAKE OFF THE HEADDRESSERS OR PAMELAS?

Protocol dictates that the headdress must be worn during the event, the cocktail party and the meal. However, if we wear a headdress that is too large, which isolates or bothers a diner, in that case, common sense rules and the rest of the guests at your table will not only not notice that you have broken the protocol but will be grateful for it.

3. WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE VEIL OR SNET?

We leave it until after the aperitif or cocktail. Once finished, we can pick it up.

4. HAIR LOOSE OR UP??

In general, we should always wear our hair with a ponytail, bun or semi-updo, whatever you prefer and feel most comfortable with. Apart from the fact that it looks much better aesthetically and gives a more polished and elegant look, the hold of the headdress is usually better if the hair is up and not loose, as it is usually done with combs or hairpins. Plus, your headdress will look much more like this!

6. WHAT CAN'T YOU WEAR WEARING A HEADDRESS?

First of all, sunglasses. The purpose of the headdress, apart from decorating, is to prevent the sun from disturbing the eyes, so we dispensed with this accessory. With a large hat or headdress already loaded, fine, small and elegant earrings are better. No XXL earrings.

Hats, headdresses, turbans will be necessary to attend this appointment, we leave you some of the best brands that you will surely get right..
